i'm finally done with spring semester classes... the past two week have been extremely intense and included my pulling three consecutive all-nighter's (with an average of 1 hour sleep a day)... this did not go over too well with my sanity.... but i did institute Green week(which will become a personal tradition i'm sure). Green= hope. so, instead of labeling a hectic stressful week as "hell week", the week was instead deemed "green week" which basically translated to the theme: hope that i survive the week... thus turning a pessimistic outlook into an optimistic outlook. this kept me smiling and smirking and going throughout all the all-nighter's.

the semester overall has been really good and i enjoyed every class and i actually feel like i didn't waste my time taking anything pointless. figure drawing was great, so was sculpture class. despite my initial feelings toward the class, i really liked english. i heart physics, and ignoring the annoying know-it-all people in diff-EQ, even math had its high points.

as for summer plans, i have a few days of random indulgent crafting and drawing and recuperating which i hope to sleep in late during. then i start a intro to painting course (mon-sat 9am-4pm for 2-3 weeks). directly after i go out of state to participate in a 10 week research program (which i'm really excited about, somewhat nervous about, and somewhat resistant to-partly b/c i won't get to see friends coming back in town when i'm gone)... then i have a couple of weeks to enjoy what is left of my summer and start preparing for the fall semester.... its going to be a long summer, full of hopes for something great.... a lovely green summer
